Savoy Vineyard sits above the Navarro River in the “Deep End” of Anderson Valley, less than 10 miles from the Pacific Ocean and is ideally suited to producing intense cool climate Chardonnay that maintains great acidity with intense flavor. Lush aromatics of Satsuma Mandarin, papaya, and freesia are underscored by subtle notes of almonds, brioche, and Asian pear. The mouthfeel is richly textured but the abundant acidity prevents the wine from being cloying. Flavors of bitter orange marmalade, pineapple, and lemon curd linger on the lengthy finish.
