The nose is rich with aromas of green melon, Granny Smith apple, and grapefruit. On the palate, bright flavors of Meyer lemon, Asian pear, and white peach give way to subtle hints of quince and apple pie.

In the mouth, flavors of pip fruit, honeydew melon, and quince mingle with subtle notes of honey and brioche.

...abundant acidity is nicely complemented by the richness imparted by sur lie aging which adds notes of brioche, struck flint, and lemon curd.

The finish is defined by a lingering swirl of flavors of red fruit and sweet mint, reminiscent of a glass of sun tea.

With its abundant aromatics of red cherry and pomegranate, our 2014 Hirsch Pinot is reflective of the fruit-forward nature of this early vintage.
